Holding a Satellite Meeting
All large international conferences are enriched by their satellite meeting programmes. Anyone wishing to hold a satellite symposium or workshop in association with HGM2006 is invited to submit an outline proposal to HUGO. Proposals should be received as soon as possible so that overlap of dates and topics can be avoided.
For further details please email the HUGO Secretariat:

Utilising the Human Genome Sequence
One-day workshop open to all. The format of this workshop will be a series of short tutorials with practical sessions to enable participants to gain "hands-on" training in the use of public databases, web-based sequence analysis tools and to review the underlying data. A full colour manual will be given to all registered participants. See http://www.sanger.ac.uk/Info/workshops/hgm2006/ for full details.

The 1st International Workshop on Approaches to Single Cell Analysis
"The 1st International Workshop on Approaches to Single Cell Analysis" will be held in Uppsala, Sweden, June 21-22, 2006. The workshop will bring together leading scientists in the field and highlight strategies to investigate the molecular composition of single cells, interactions and dynamics of single molecules, and applications thereof. Organizers are Ulf Landegren, Hideki Kambara, Mathias Uhlén, and Tadashi Matsunaga. Full details can be found at http://www.akademikonferens.uu.se/singlecell2006/
